Leyland Atlantean PDR2/1 TBK 190K number 190

The single-decker variant of the Atlantean was extremely rare, and this was one
of 12 purchased by Portsmouth in 1971/2. In 1978, 190, along with the rest of
this batch, was fitted with a towing hook for use, when required, on the service
between The Hard and the Continental Ferry Terminal for which a number of
luggage trailers were acquired from British Airways.
Following an extensive period off the road, including a complete repaint, 190 is
now back in service again.
Delivered 1971 as fleet number 190
Tow bracket fitted in 1978 for ferry port duties
Withdrawn from service in 1982 and sold to
current owners for preservation
